Zypto makes converting your crypto to cash seamless with its partnership with MoneyGram. This step-by-step guide walks you through the simple process of cashing out USDC (on the Stellar network) into physical currency. Whether you’re new to the feature or need a quick refresher, follow these instructions to access your funds conveniently at one of MoneyGram’s global locations.
1 - Open the Zypto App
Launch the Zypto app on your device.
2 - Tap on the Zypto Icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
Access the Exchange Menu
3 - From the Zypto menu, select Exchange.
4 - Navigate to the options select
Deposit : For Cash to Crypto
Withdraw : For Crypto to Cash
For this Tutorial we will Click on Withdraw to start the crypto-to-cash process.
5 - Select Your Wallet
Please make sure you have Stellar Trustline enabled for that wallet
Choose the wallet you wish to use for this withdrawal.
Note: Currently, Zypto supports USDC on the Stellar Network. Support for more cryptocurrencies will be added soon
6 - Enter Withdrawal Amount
On the withdrawal page, input the amount of USDC you wish to withdraw.
Press Continue to proceed.
7 - Receive Reference Number Guidance
Click OK and proceed to select your Cash-Out Country (e.g., India).
A prompt will appear, requesting confirmation of the necessary information and the exchange rate for currency conversion.
8 - Select a Location
Under the Receive Method, search for a MoneyGram location closest to you and select it.
You can choose a different location based on your preference.
9 - Confirm Location
Once you finalize your location, click Continue.
10 - Enter Personal Information
Fill in your personal details as requested by the app to verify your identity.
Ensure that the information matches your government-issued photo ID.
11 - Review Your Information
A review page will appear showing:
The withdrawal amount.
Payment method.
Selected MoneyGram location.
ID information linked to your transaction.
Scroll down and click Submit to confirm the transaction.
After submission, a confirmation page will appear displaying your Reference Number, which you’ll need to carry to the MoneyGram location.
12 - Take Note of Reference Number & Retrieval Window
Visit the MoneyGram Location
Visit the MoneyGram location you selected in the app.
Provide your Reference Number and valid ID for verification.
For larger transactions, you may need to provide additional documentation, such as proof of address.
Collect Your Cash
Once your details are verified, the MoneyGram agent will process your transaction, and you can collect your cash.
